Sisters on Mission

We believe in the power of women coming together to make a kingdom impact.
Sisters Who Care Virginia is a vibrant expression of WMU’s Women on Mission®, modeled after the National Sisters Who Care Ministry. We exist to affirm the powerful work already happening in African American congregations—while also sparking new passion for culturally relevant missions that engage both women and children.
Through Bible studies, leadership training, conferences, workshops, and personalized consultation, Sisters Who Care Virginia serves as a resource to help churches fulfill their local and global missions goals.
Since 1999, we’ve been committed to inspiring and equipping African American women to join in God's mission with boldness and unity—partnering with Women on Mission® to reach the world for Christ.

Sisters Who Care & Adult
We believe that everyone—no matter their age—can be part of God’s mission in the world. From the earliest preschool years to high school graduation, we offer programs that help children and students love God, love their neighbors, and grow into leaders with a missional heart.
